Jade Goody dies – i was never a huge fan

As you may see from the original post below, I was never a great fan of Jade Goody. Nor her family to be fair. That being said, she has fought a brave battle with cervical cancer recently and sadly, she lost that battle earlier today. I do not wish death upon people, and despite not caring much for Jade’s career path, I still admire her bravery and feel sad for both her and the family. In the same way that I would feel sorry for any poor young girl who has been taken by this terrible disease.
Crewe Memorial Statue is now back home
Having sat on Earle Street in Crewe on Thursday lunchtime, I was amazed to see Britannia go riding past me. After doing a double-take I realised it must have been on its way back to its place of rest. However, the place where people believe she should be laid to rest varies.
Sexy Dancing – Provocative or Fun?
Dancing used to consist of a foxtrot around the room and a twirl at the end… if you were lucky! Today, dancing is something completely different. I have just watched “Come Dancing” and some of the outfits the girls were wearing were virtually non existent. I mean, does EVERYTHING these days have to be about sex?
Teenage girls are racist
Ok, let me get one thing straight…. I’m not racist, far from it. However, I will comment on certain things that get on my nerves and if that happens to fall into a racial category, then so be it. But I have now discovered that I shouldn’t be feeling guilty at all for feeling how I feel. I have sussed out that many teenage girls are indeed racist.
Americans – are they for real?
I have been watching a few programmes today on the dreaded goggle box. Now having sat and listened to it in the background for about 2 hours, I have come to the conclusion that they are the most annoying people on the planet.
Whats worse, is the fact that some of us British people are now beginning to copy them.
“Go girlfriend!”…. “Thats it.. you go girrrl” and all that garbage. Whats all that about?
