Well I woke this morning to a rather unpleasant surprise in the kitchen… water running down the wall! Because of the time of year and the weather recently, I just assumed I had a burst pipe or the boiler pipe had frozen up, but what I actually found was my bath had somehow moved and was no longer creating a tight seal to the wall. I pondered the option of just bunging lots of gunk around the edge to reseal it in, but then decided that if i was going to do it, I’d do it properly and whilst I was at it, I’d also put a new bathroom suite in and some bathroom storage.
So, having ripped out the bath and selected a new set from the vast selection of bathroom suites available these days, I decided that I would also add some fancy new bathroom storage, as I’m sick of bottles and brushes all over the place. This time, I was going to make the bathroom practical as well as looking good.
With the new suite in, the storage units firmly bolted to the wall and even a nice shaver socked added, I was ready for Christmas with a bathroom to be proud of when the relatives pop round. But what a great time for the bath to begin leaking… right on Christmas week! Yes, the Baz curse has struck again!
