Is Northumberland County Council the stupidest Council in the land?

Well, in answer to that question; in spite of massive competition from many other Councils, I believe that they may indeed be the stupidest and most incompetent Council in the land.
 

Why?
 

Because after reading about the case of Fran Lyon 22 of Hexam, Northumberland, all the evidence proves this beyond all reasonable doubt!
 

I read with mounting dismay and incredulity that Northumberland County Council had decided that Ms Lyon’s baby (due in eight weeks time), must be taken away from her at birth (in fact, as soon as the cord is cut). Additionally, no less than two midwives must be present at the birth and Ms Lyon will not be allowed to breast feed her baby for fear that she might poison it, according to a ‘birth plan’ drawn up by the morons at Northumberland Council.
 

Now you must be wondering by now, whether Fran Lyon is some kind of dangerous criminal…after all, even the July 7^th bombers scarcely received this kind of treatment. Did Fran Lyon commit some terrible multiple murder involving knives, hatchets, and machetes and leave a bloody trail of wanton destruction all over Northumberland? Did she commit some sort of huge multi-million pound fraud, or is she some sort of maniacally schizophrenic crack cocaine addicted career criminal with a string of offences? Has she indeed, been guilty of harming or abusing children in the past?
 

The answer to all of the above is, as you may have guessed…NO.
 

So why have the wasters at Northumberland Council decided to take such drastic action?
 

Apparently, when Fran Lyon was 15 and as a result of a traumatic childhood, she was admitted into care and received psychiatric help for self harming and for borderline personality disorder: in the intervening years, she has ‘made good’ and indeed, now runs two separate help groups for people with personality disorders.
 

Because of this and in spite of all evidence that Fran Lyon is, in fact, a normal healthy adult…and an asset to the community, the clueless incompetents at Northumberland Council, believe that she may develop Munchausen’s Syndrome by Proxy and harm her child…it is more likely that the bods at the Council have contracted Munchausen’s Brainless Council Worker Syndrome by proxy…as a team of independent and highly qualified psychiatrists are in fact, backing Fran Lyon.
 

In spite of appeals by Fran and an offer by her to reside in sheltered accommodation so that she can be observed and thus prove her competence with her child, the Council will not change their position (because they have ‘dropped a bollock’ and are now covering their arses and so can’t back down’).
 

Fran has had to resort to moving to the West Midlands in order to be closer to her family and to come under a less moronic Council…her case to (rightfully) keep her child continues.
 

I’m going to say this; and you all know it’s true. Don’t you just know that Northumberland Council is pursuing a rabidly vengeful campaign against Fran Lyon; don’t you just know that sometime soon, a real danger to children, after the 30^th visit by Social workers will be cleared as ‘no danger’ by them and will go on to kill their child!
 

Don’t you just know that these lame brained liberal ‘pinko’ bleeding heart do-gooders and their kind are destroying our country with their stupid ideas and even stupider ways? Worse than that, our Councils are full of those self same types who quite frankly, couldn’t make it in a real job in the real world and so flock to work in an undemanding, uninspiring and sheltered environment with those of like mind.
 

One thing though…we can’t let them get away with this…if we do it will encourage others of their poisoned ilk countrywide. The good news is that these types are invariably cowards and will give up the ghost when faced with unpopularity or opposition.
