Sexy Dancing - Provocative or Fun?

October 8th, 2006 Written by barry

Dancing used to consist of a foxtrot around the room and a twirl at the end… if you were lucky! Today, dancing is something completely different. I have just watched “Come Dancing” and some of the outfits the girls were wearing were virtually non existent. I mean, does EVERYTHING these days have to be about sex?

Chart music - sex, Dancing - sex, Painting - sex, TV programmes - sex. Its all sex, sex, bloody sex. No matter where you look. Now, dont get me wrong, im a red blooded male just like the rest of them and of course, I have an interest in sex myself. But it does get on my tits a little when EVERYWHERE you look, you are bombarded with it. Then of course, people wonder why their “lovely little” sons and daughters are having sex and babies at the all-too-familar age of 14-15 years old.

You only have to put on The Hits music channel or MTV these days to satisfy your every warped sexual desire. You have girls like Britney Spears deliberately wearing things like school uniforms to appeal to the perverts in society, whilst still “relating” to the younger generation. Its completely obvious and yet nobody seems to see it for what it really is, or perhaps its just me that thinks its sick?

Watch a music video and you can rest assured you will see half naked girls dancing around wiggling their asses and boobs over and over. You know… thats silly move that almost every hip-hop video has where the girl sticks her arms out in front of her like she is pushing a broken down car… then wiggles or vibrates her ass at speed. Yeh… bit tiresome these days isnt it? Can they not think of anything new or creative that ISNT based around sexual inuendo?

Worse still, if you have been watching any music videos then you may have seen a typical hip-hop video where it is FULL of typically black women wearing not much more than bikinis wafting massive arses all over the joint whilst being verbally degraded by “dead cool” black rappers.

Why cant we have something new? Is this how music is going to be for the foreseable future? How boring. We have had this sexual nonsense for far too long now. Lets have PROPER music and artists that are based on talent, not how fast they can wiggle their arse and boobs…. then grumble when men treat them like sex objects.
