Ok, let me get one thing straight…. I’m not racist, far from it. However, I will comment on certain things that get on my nerves and if that happens to fall into a racial category, then so be it. But I have now discovered that I shouldn’t be feeling guilty at all for feeling how I feel. I have sussed out that many teenage girls are indeed racist.
The other day I was sat outside a local shop waiting for my mate to finish shopping and there were two teenage girls sat just a few metres from me. I could clearly hear what they were saying (is it me, or are ALL teenagers prima donna’s these days? they like to be heard and like everyone around them to hear it too). The conversation went something like this:
Spotty Girl: “…. so did you sleep with him?”
Britney Wannabe: “no, he isnt even good looking. But he is black, so its cool”
Spotty Girl: “So if he isnt good looking does he have a good personality?”
Britney Wannabe: “No… but its cool to go out with a black lad isnt it? You never been out with one?”
Spotty Girl: “No, its not my thing….”
Britney Wannabe: “You’re so sad!”
So there you have it! Its not about personality, its not about being good looking, its not about even being a nice person. Its all about your skin colour. So, if you want to stand a chance with many teenage girls these days, it helps if you are black. Its almost back to the “token black kid” days when they would dump a black kid into any newspaper photo of a school for example, just to show how politically correct they are.
In my eyes, that’s just as racist as somebody who doesn’t like a person just because of their colour. In fact, its exactly the same, just in reverse.
It may not be just me that’s noticed it, but in many ways, as a white lad in a country that is so obsessive about hip hop, ghetto music and wiggling bums and boobs all over the joint… I’m starting to feel like I’m a bit out of place. Like I don’t really belong. Its things like this attitude which make me feel this way. In other words, if i wanna be hip, cool, liked and adored by girls, then I simply have to be black and be able to stand on my porch rapping and insulting women in general. Just goes to prove that “treat em mean.. keep em keen” still counts today, because if i were to call a girl a “ho” or a “bitch”, I’d get a slap. A black lad says it, and its instantly “cool”.
The other thing you may have noticed is that I haven’t used any insults towards black people in the article. However, the bizarre thing is, they are fine calling themselves “nigga” in almost every rap song. Yet, if I were to call a black person a “nigga” it would be racist and I would be disowned by all my friends, family and then run out of town!
Bloody marvelous isnt it!
